Recovering from an uncomfortable Monday of rain and light sleet, today's clouds and warmer weather will seem like a special gift on this Valentine's Day. Early patchy fog for some areas with dense fog advisories throughout Louisiana. Traveling along I-20 West bound will slow down the deeper into Louisiana you go. Expect a high near 60 degrees with winds from the NW 10-15 mph.
Tonight we may see another pattern of patchy fog developing after the midnight hour. Scattered clouds will begin to set the stage with an increased chance of rain developing for Wednesday. However, the overnight forecast should stay relatively docile, lows in the mid 40s and winds east at 5 mph.
Tomorrow we need to brace for warmer weather, higher temps and a higher chance of strong to severe storms. We'll start off with a chance of storms in the morning hours then another set of storms in the afternoon. As you would expect, the afternoon storms (with the aid of more sunshine) are expected to be stronger. We do have a chance of the storms turning ugly and becoming severe with locally heavy rainfall. 80% chance of showers throughout the duration of the day.
